Our team will do their best to provide instruction, equipment and suggestions that keep the risks of injury low and will do their best to provide suggestions that will result in as safe a practice as is possible.

When you register for our programs or come for self-directed practice, you have clicked that you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Participants 18 YEARS and over agree to the following. If the participant is under 18, the parent or legal guardian agrees to the following for the participation of the child.
This form covers all activities present and future, including classes, jams, open gym practice sessions, performances, special events, parties, workshops and/or other activities offered by Ottawa Circus School Inc.
I hereby I wish to participate (or wish that my child participates) in activities offered by the Ottawa Circus School. I understand that the participant could be injured. During the activities at the Ottawa Circus School participants are involved in some or all of the following: hands-on learning of juggling and prop manipulations arts, tightrope, trapeze, aerial silks, floor gymnastics, human pyramids, and other similar activities.
Like any physical activity there are always risks, we do our best to minimize risks but injury even serious injury could happen. By participating or having your child participate you accept all risks of injury and hold harmless the Ottawa Circus School, the coaches, the volunteer coaches, and administration staff.
I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding any participation in these activities especially if health issues are a concern. I attest that I (or my child) is physically fit and I have no medical conditions that would prevent their participation in these activities.
I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in these activities. I agree to inform the instructor(s) or staff of the Ottawa Circus School of any physical limitations, physical discomforts and/or injuries, and I take full responsibility for non-disclosure.
Unless I specifically ask for no photos to be taken or posted, I permit the Ottawa Circus School staff and photographers to take and publish photos of myself and my children, noting that only the first name is used for adult photos and no name is used for children’s photos.
We have a no bullying and no physical violence tolerance. We want all participants to feel safe. In the case of incidents, the participant will be given a warning as well as the parent that if their behavior continues that they will not be able to continue the program. A participant who continues to be physically violent and has had at least 1 warning could be removed from the programs with no reimbursement.
In further consideration to participate in these activities, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Ottawa Circus School, the coaches, the directors, volunteers and shareholders, for injury or damages that my child may sustain as a result of participating in these activities and I accept the risks.

If you are sick please stay home.
Should we be forced to cancel classes due to government mandates such as a lockdown or due to Environment Canada weather warnings to avoid non-essential travel, there will be no refund or credits, thank you for understanding that we still have all the expenses to pay on the space as well as our amazing coaches who are making their living. The monthly installments may not be cancelled because of government-issued city-wide (or wider) lockdowns.
We will follow any provincial health guidelines should there be any in place at that time we will inform you if there is anything we are obliged to implement.
