Yoga for kids

Through physical exercises, movements, cooperative games, concentration techniques, breathing and relaxation, storytelling and mantras (songs in Sanskrit), a peaceful atmosphere creates itself.

Julie Bilodeau is leading this class. She is a yoga teacher with many years of experience teaching yoga in pre-schools and elementary schools. She has been able to observe the benefits of yoga on behaviour, cognitive skills and general health. Her mission is to share yoga with children and give them practical tools to improve their inner well-being, to facilitate the expression of emotions and reduce stress while providing a sense of presence, peace and heart opening.

We will be running a children’s yoga class at the same time as an adult yoga class each week. Parent can participate in the adult class at the same time as their children participate in the children’s class in a different studio.
